Pipe Organ Encounters
The American Guild of Organists offers opportunities for young and beginning organists to learn about the pipe organ in special multiple-day events called Pipe Organ Encounters. Many scholarships are available. This year's offerings include:
POE -- for ages 13-18 with at least intermediate keyboard skills
POE Advanced -- for grades 9-12 with a high level of organ playing ability (audition required)
POE Technical -- for ages 16-23 with an interest in organ building and repair
POE+ -- for those 19 and older, including beginners
